They will have to answer to our maker for their choices.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3051698882484311829.post-38771858844191533592013-01-31T06:04:35.601+00:002013-01-31T06:04:35.601+00:00Karma has a nasty habit of coming about and kickin...Karma has a nasty habit of coming about and kicking you square in the teeth when you least expect it.. These people step over dying climbers and leave them to spend their final moments cold and alone as people walk over and around them to get to the summit, I can't think of anything more horrible.

Thanks again for your comment David.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04791907493613050112noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3051698882484311829.post-64045736406965872972012-05-30T14:56:33.010+01:002012-05-30T14:56:33.010+01:00Thanks for covering this topic. I followed the Everest season intently this May and was bothered by this report at her blog, but realised like you, there was a whole horde who passed them too so it wouldn't be fair to point a finger solely at her.

I would imagine oxygen can make a big difference to these people near death - many of whom get that way due to running out. So if a climber sacrifices a bottle (and their summit attempt) it could make the difference.

One minor correction: green boots was born in 68 and died in 96.

I'll follow the discussion at the site you linked to.DavidAnoreply@blogger.com
